Thanksgiving to God for His Faithfulness

Thanksgiving to God for His Faithfulness
by Rev. Greg Schermerhorn – November 24, 2013

Rick and Greg Schermerhorn 1969
My soul longs, yes, even faints For the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.(Ps. 84:1) You have clothed me with skin and flesh and have knit me together with bones and sinews. You have granted me life and favor, and Your providence has

preserved my spirit.(Job 10:11-12) For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are your
works, and that my inner self knows right well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery]. Your
eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them. How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!(Ps. 139:13-17)...Thank you, Lord for
the life you have given to me! Thank you for my parents, Rick & Lee, my brother Brian, and my sister Beth! Thank you for my wonderful wife, Kate! Thank you for my extended family... my in-laws and my many nephews and nieces. Thank you for my church family and friends, some as
close as a brother. I praise you, Lord for your blessings on this my birthday.
